Major Purpose


Reporting to the Director, Business Development, the Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new B2B SaaS opportunities for our Mid-Markets sales team. You will work in an environment that offers a rare combination of dynamic, critical thinking sales leaders and have significant responsibility for business growth. This position offers individuals with entrepreneurial spirit an opportunity for a successful career in sales.

Key Responsibilities


  • Conduct critical “first touch” outreach to leads both self-generated and inbound.
  • Prospect companies to identify new business opportunities and prioritize accounts within a defined territory.
  • Manage leads and schedule qualified software demonstrations for sales executives in order to reach performance-based goals.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and the marketing team to support their prospecting programs.
  • Track daily activities and results using Salesforce.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and provide market feedback based on interactions with prospective clients.


Requirements

  • New college grads welcomed, or up to 2 years sales experience.
  • Competitive by nature and desire to move up within a fast-growing company.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prospect and qualify warm leads.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software an asset.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
